• The Clapper is an essential tool for achieving a professional ironing finish. The wood traps the steam from the iron and retains it longer in the fabric, resulting in clean seams and well-defined folds. Applying pressure on the tailor's wood will give results similar to a pressing machine.
• Perfect for opening and flattening seams—straight or curved—without marking the fabric, and to avoid burns on hands and fingers.
• Ideal for touching up seams and folds on finished garments.

Instructions for use: The tailor's wood is used by pressing and slightly lifting to move it to another spot, avoiding dragging it over the fabric. Always test on a fabric scrap to observe its behavior and the result. Be especially careful when working with delicate or transparent fabrics. The clapper will slide well on fabrics that do not snag easily. Remember: lift and press, lift and press!

Care: The tailor's wood is made of natural hardwood; still, it reacts to temperature and humidity, but with a little care it will last a lifetime. If it falls or cracks, sand it carefully so it does not catch fabrics. If the wood grain raises, you should sand it gently with very fine sandpaper, clean the excess dust with a microfiber cloth; if the cloth still snags, you need to sand it more. During manufacturing, the grain was pre-raised with water and then sanded, but as it is a natural product, we cannot guarantee 100% solidity. If your clapper performs poorly because it was made from the wood of a rebellious tree, please let us know, and we will do our best to solve the problem.
