Handmade in Japan with sustainable Paulownia wood, also called Kiri, the tree of life. Traditionally, when a daughter was born, a Kiri tree was planted, and later a chest was made from its wood to give to the daughter as a dowry when she married.
Care: The ham is very durable, but dirt from the iron or steam scale can stain the fabric; this will not affect its use. If the ham accidentally falls and becomes deformed or dented, we suggest carefully massaging it until it regains its original shape.
